7-Stage Precision Manufacturing Process

Every transformer manufactured by EUROGULF undergoes rigorous quality-controlled production stages using raw materials sourced exclusively from globally accredited tier-1 suppliers.

Stage 01

Step-Lap Core Cutting

High-permeability, cold-rolled grain-oriented (CRGO) silicon steel processed via automated CNC cutting machines using step-lap lamination to minimize core losses, excitation current, and acoustic noise.

Stage 02

Automated Winding

High-purity electrolytic copper and aluminum conductors wound using high-precision CNC winding machines. Foil winding for low voltage and Paper-Insulated Copper Conductors (PICC) for high voltage ratings.

Stage 03

Core-Coil Assembly

Precision assembly of active parts with robust clamping structures. Mechanical rigidity is verified through ratio, vector group, and magnetic balance checks prior to thermal drying.

Stage 04

Computerized Vacuum Drying

Active core-coil assemblies undergo controlled vacuum drying in automated ovens catering up to 132kV class to eliminate moisture content and ensure superior insulation breakdown strength.

Stage 05

Tank Fabrication & Testing

Heavy-duty steel tanks fabricated with reinforced corrugated or radiator panels. 100% leak-free integrity confirmed via ultraviolet dye penetrant and pressure leak tests.

Stage 06

Shot Blasting & Flood Painting

Automated shot blasting removes scale before applying multi-coat corrosion protection. Flood painting with zinc-rich primers guarantees long-term durability in coastal and harsh industrial environments.

Design & Technology Optimization

Our engineering department utilizes advanced 3D CAD modeling, 2D/3D Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and specialized thermal/short-circuit simulation software. We optimize transformer parameters to withstand harsh ambient temperatures (up to 55°C) and heavy electrical overload cycles.

  • Custom designs fully compliant with IEC 60076, IEEE C57, BS, IS, and NEMA
  • Short-circuit withstand capability proven by calculation and type tests
  • Optimized cooling systems (ONAN, ONAF, KNAN) for high efficiency

High Voltage Testing & KEMA/CESI Certification

Quality assurance is embedded in our workflow. EUROGULF operates an electrically shielded, fully automated High Voltage Test Laboratory equipped with calibrated impulse generators, power loss analyzers, and partial discharge test suites.

  • 100% Routine Testing for every unit leaving the factory floor
  • Type & Special Tests: Temperature rise, lightning impulse, sound level measurement
  • Independently type-tested and certified by KEMA (Netherlands) & CESI (Italy)

Integrated Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Management

EUROGULF operates under an integrated management system strict adherence to safety, environmental sustainability, and zero-defect quality principles. Our production lines maintain traceable documentation for international EPC contractors and utility auditors.
